Monthind’s Business Manager, Paul Hilton will be running 26.2 miles this month to fundraise for Prostate Cancer UK as part of the charity’s Run the Month: Marathon Edition.
More than 52,000 men in the UK are diagnosed with prostate cancer, with one in eight men being diagnosed in their lifetime. Prostate Cancer UK helps to fund lifesaving research and provides awareness and practical support for thousands of men across the UK every year.
About Prostate Cancer UK
Founded in 1996 by Professor Jonathon Waxman to address the surgical treatment of men, Prostate Cancer UK aims to improve the care and welfare of those affected by prostate cancer and raise public and political awareness of the long-neglected disease.
After starting as a small charity of five staff members at Hammersmith hospital, in 2012 Prostate Cancer UK merged with Prostate Action and together the charities have invested over £37 million into ground-breaking research, and in 2022 continue to provide award-winning care and support for men and their friends and families.
