Monthind has been providing cleaning services to Kinnerton Confectionery since April 2012. Kinnerton is Britain’s largest manufacturer of chocolate and novelty confectionery and the biggest employer in Fakenham.
Monthind was delighted to become the contract cleaning company during spring of last year, when Kinnerton decided to outsource its cleaning operations, enabling them to better concentrate on their growing confectionery business.
Stuart Taylor, Kinnerton’s site Hygiene and Hardware Manager, explained that he needed a managed service approach with a trustworthy local company – a firm that could work closely with Kinnerton and meet the cleaning and hygiene standards the company demands.
The site has two daytime cleaners who cover all key corridors and entrances, as well as washroom areas and canteens. They also carry out waste removal. Two additional cleaners work in the evening and cover the office areas.
The Monthind team also provide weekend cleaning services, since Kinnerton operates on a shift basis and is a 24/7, 363 days-a-year business. The site is visited on a weekly basis by Monthind’s Business Manager, Chris Brown, to oversee the smooth running of operations.
